Zayn Malik has reportedly inked a deal with Turn First Artists, where he'll be managed by Sarah Stennett, who has also guided the career of Iggy Azalea.
Malik was previously part of the Modest! Management family as a member of One Direction, but turned to Turn First to help launch his solo career, according to MusicWeek. A rep for Malik did not respond to Billboard's request for comment.
Stennett started Turn First as a management and branding company in 2011, with support from Universal Music Group chairman/CEO Lucian Grainge. In addition to Azalea, the London-based company also works with Ellie Goulding and Rita Ora.
Earlier this month, it was confirmed that Malik is still a part of Simon Cowell's Syco Music roster, which will likely shepherd his solo material. One Direction is currently touring North America, and Malik recently tweeted at his "bro" Liam Payne on the group's five-year anniversary.
He's (supposedly) signing with her manager, not collaborating with her. Iggy herself was her own problem, not her management. They did a good job making her happen in 2014 and with promo.
Lol why some say "Noooo?". Reclassified was the only misstep her management did. They did a really good job with Iggy's other material, y'all will get a lot of promo.
Iggy was everywhere tbh. The only reason she 'flopped' was because she just wasn't likeable. Zayn already has a pretty sizeable fanbase and I'm sure now that he's parted ways with NB, the Directioners that were mad at him will embrace him again. Maybe he'll fare better.

She Flopped? smh.
She's sold more singles in a year than your fav has in this Decade.
Go take a nap or smth.
