The couple, who began dating following the Brit Awards earlier this year, have been keen to work together professionally for a while now despite the differences in their musical styles.
Rumour has it they've even met with high profile producer Detail about their joint venture, the man behind Jay Z and Beyonce's Drunk In Love. It is thought they might debut one of their completed tracks at the American Music Awards in November.
UK tabloid the Daily Star quotes a source as saying of the pair, "Taylor and Calvin have been speaking about collaborating since they started dating. They've had a couple of sessions jamming in the studio and are working with producer Detail."
The source continued, "Taylor has already been in LA laying down vocals for one of the tracks which could premiere at the American Music Awards later this year. Musically, Calvin and Taylor are from different worlds – but they are determined to bring their styles together."
The Daily Star is well known in the UK for not having any actual journalists though. They are the tabloid where hacks end up when all the real job opportunities in the newspaper industry have closed to them.
If you are too crap to work at The Sun, you will probably end up at the Daily Star.
So when Daily Star has 'a source' or an exclusive or a scoop, it ALWAYS turns out to be false.
Given their history of 100% innacuracy from all their previous scoops, I remain unconvinced. LMAO
