Enrique Iglesias has left his longtime home at Universal and signed with Sony Music, Billboard has learned. His albums will likely be released by Sony Music Latin in Spanish and RCA in English.
Iglesias has had a long and very positive relationship with Universal, which released his albums in English and Spanish for over a decade. But Sony offered major international support and, according to inside sources, one of the biggest contracts offered to any artist in recent years in terms of advances and royalties.
Sex and Love, which was released in 2014 and includes the hit “Bailando,” was Iglesias’ last album under his Universal contract.
I don't know... Sex and Love era was a diseaster (countless "lead" singles, FFY mess or bad English promo) but overall they didn't hurt him in the past
I find it extremely admirable that he's managed to come such a long way with no talent in performing or singing and below average album sales, just because of his appearance and the odd big hit. It's not even shade, I do find it admirable

Well the lack of talent is entirely subjective (I'd certainly argue as a performer he has the x-factor) not to mention there's more than that goes into being a pop star but below average album sales? Back in the day his album sales were considered good even after his commercial peak it was still decent, worldwide it adds up. If you compare it to a lot of his peers from the same era it stacks up fairly well.

Its just hate and they are pressed that their faves dont have hit singles no more, having a great voice, and even after being a judge on a singing TV show.

Ugh, so lame
ATRL needs to stop indirectly responding to other people based on their faves. If you disagree with me, QUOTE me and tell me what you disagree with. It's not primary school anymore.
