After returning with "Emergency" in May, Icona Pop have shared another new track. Listen to "First Time", from the duo's forthcoming Emergency EP, above.
"First Time" is the first song Icona Pop wrote together when they formed in 2012, but the duo only just now recorded a version of it. "The song has a whole new meaning to it now, looking back and reflecting on how far we’ve come since those early days when we were broke and didn’t have a clue what we were doing or where we were going!" the group's Aino Jawo said of the track.
The Emergency EPis out tomorrow via Atlantic/Big Beat/Record Company TEN. The duo is also currently on tour opening for One Direction. Check out dates below.
The beginning had me worried because I really miss the sound of the first album but luckily as it got going it started hitting me in all the right places.
