Many have said this is the best fast food place in the South. Though i do think Zaxbys has that covered. The restaurant seems to be a Texas staple though. I'm in Georgia so don't think there's any here(actually only one that's really far out from me). So can someone fill me in on how the ever popular Whataburger is and what to order from there? That is if i ever make a stop there one day. I can go to Florida to see the place.

Georgia USED TO have a few Whataburger locations, but they closed up shop.Another popular southern fast food restaurant, COOK OUT is expanding down there, AND on top of that, Georgia has Krystal with those bomb ass sliders.Also, you can't go wrong with Waffle House.

Speaking of fast food, I wish Jack in the Box hadn't stalled their late '90s expansion into NC, I would have LOVED to see some Jack in the Boxes EAST of the I-77 corridor. All of the JITB are near Charlotte are two hours and some change from me.No bueno.

Back on topic, I haven't experienced Whataburger firsthand so I can't tell you if they're good or bad.

they dont have these up north so I never tried. Better than Five Guys? Ive been meaning to try that place along with Bojangles, heard that was the best fried chicken spot so im intrigued. You southern folk have all the good restaurants.

I wouldn't compare Whataburger to five guys because they're different kinds of places but Whataburger is bomb af. It's up there with Five Guys in terms of taste but has a better value and more variety.

If I'm not mistaken, the northernmost Bojangles is in Reading, PA.IDK if it's still open or not though.

If you DO go, Get either the Cajun Fillet Biscuit or the Chicken Supremes with Dirty Rice and Sweet Tea.Also, DO NOT forget to order Bo' Berry Biscuits, which are REALLY GOOD.Again, Cook Out and Bojangles are 'those chains' here in NC. Biscuitville has a following too, but not as big as the other two.
