Of the many stunts, surprises and star-studded panels that took over San Diego over the four-day weekend, the chatter surrounding Comic-Con was dominated by Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2, according to Twitter.
The social media platform noted Monday that the final installment of the Lionsgate franchise starring Jennifer Lawrence was the most tweeted-about movie of the weekend, thanks to the cast's successful back-to-back appearances during a refreshingly candid panel moderated by Conan O'Brien and a viral sit-down during a special edition of Conan at the Spreckels Theater.
Warner Bros.' Batman v Superman came in second — props and costumes from the follow-up to the 2013 film were on display, and director Zack Snyder and the cast debuted a new trailer. Disney's Star Wars (and its seven panels) came in third, as Harrison Ford made his first post-plane crash appearance, and director J.J. Abrams shared behind-the-scenes footage and invited over 6,500 attendees to a nearby park for a concert by the San Diego Symphony.
