That list is tragic as ****
There's only a few good masterpiece like "Pride and Prejudice", "Tolkien" ... the rest is teenage trash

Disgusting...
To Kill A Mockingbird at #4, though.
My favourite ever book.

Of the moment YA lit, recently (passed 20 years) adapted books to movies and some required high school reading?
Edit: Not to be a snob, just it's exactly what one would assume.
Second edit: If goodreads remains up and popular for 20+ more years, their lists could be interesting.

This list is an atrocity.
I'm a die-hard Hunger Games fan and I think the story is incredible, but the books themselves, the writing, the development... it's kind of one of few cases where the movie is better than the book. The last book really is a mess, and I feel kind of lots its direction and the finale is a mess. I mean I'm glad
there's no happy ending, but it didn't have to end QUITE so miserably
.

I'm assuming most of these are sales from schools buying them for the students?

For book fans some of you sure know how to read.
This is not a best rated list but a list of books that has been rated the most times

Can I get a short list in which we tell apart good literature from cheap sellout teenage sagas?

Those aren't sales, but the number of times they've been rated on the website Goodreads (the Facebook of books).
