Why is the media trying to start a beef between Beyoncé and Taylor Swift?

When both have had nothing but praise and admiration for one another. Wasn't Bey just at her birthday party etc. I know I can't be the only one to notice this regarding the media. Does mentioning Bey bring more clicks to their websites/blogs? Or did they get bored with Katy vs. Taylor thing? Why do they keep mentioning Bey when Katy and Gaga are her musical peers? What's going on?

Well isn't it obvious. If you're really going to compare two of the biggest popstars in the world it would be them. True we don't need to pit two strong females against one another but it's interesting to note the demographic they both appeal to. ATRL and it's race wars would be more prevalent if these two fan bases duked it out & it would stir the pot for America's racism problem.

Well yeah, they are the biggest two, but usually the media compares those in the same music genre. But I guess their names are going to bring more clicks.

The racism thing would definitely be bad. It would be like those Serena vs any white woman posts on Yahoo, MSN etc.

this is the 1st time i'm hearing of any 'beef'. saying taylor has taken bey's spot as the biggest female artist out right now isn't really starting beef, it's just an observation some people are making.

if you mean starting beef between their fans. well...stans do an excellent job of pitting women against each other without the help of the media. but the media have been doing this since forever anyway.

A couple of article writer are not the "media".

Beyonce doesn't love me though. No matter how many times I tweet her. The only reason she likes Taylor is because she's the picture perfect American female. Blonde and white. It would be her wet dream to wake up as her and not be black.

The stans aren't doing it, its the media.
