LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — A Clermont woman was arrested after going after a teenager with a baseball bat while yelling and threatening his family.
Lake County deputies arrested Lisa Elberson, 29, after video surfaced of the incident.
The altercation on Gold Star Court stems from an ongoing dispute between residents in the area.
"Yesterday I was driving and he comes at my truck, saying some other stuff. So, I come back home and then I tell my wife, 'I'm going to go talk to him,'" Elberson's husband said.
Elberson grabbed a bat and went with her husband, authorities said. At the same time, a witness began recording video of the incident on a cell phone.
The video shows Elberson holding a bat and saying racial and homophobic slurs. She allegedly told the teenager that she would hang his family from her tree.
"He really doesn't have nothing on her. All he has is my wife yelling, and that's all she did," Elberson's husband said.
According to deputies, Elberson spit on the victim during the incident. She was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, simple battery and child abuse.
