On being half mexican: That's who I am. My dad, my family, that's me. Then when I became whoever I was (famous), people saw me as half-mexican or mexican, and I didn't know, I was like 'that's who I am'. Now I'm able to embrace that. When I wanted to become an actress and singer when I was 7 years old I thought I had to be blonde, or have blue eyes and be pretty. I mean, I loved Britney Spears and Hilary Duff and I thought that's what I had to look like. Then you know, everyday I have to deal with people thinking I'm too this, I'm too that, I'm not good enough. It's just about learning that you're strong with who you are. Everybody is different, nobody is perfect, nobody is the same. Everybody is gonna have a different quality that makes them special, and just love who you are no matter what.
This bitch can barely speak spanish though. Perfect example of a white-washed latina.
Sis she was born in the U.S and she lived with her single WHITE mother her whole life, duh.
She doesn't need to speak spanish to be proud of her roots.
She can't even bother to speak spanish well but whatever I guess. And she is not the Mexican Madonna, mess at the Americans trying to shove this nickname like Mexico even embraces her ff.
