Yeah. I was addicted to hardcore **** by the age of like 13 tbh. My parents are so computer illiterate. They're 64 and 69. Mum used to call our computer "the email."

Same Except my parents know how to use the Internet and clocked the Internet history on several occasions.
Not really, I was never monitored and my mum never checked my history.
All she did was use AOL and my dad never uses computers.
Although I got addicted to Habbo Hotel and my internet use was reduced to one hour a day but that never lasted.

It was all I really did on the computer. And MSN, social media, games eventually etc.
My parents (dad especially) are very technologically literate, so they were able to give me good guidance and tips in using the Internet. They had enough confidence in said guidance that they've allowed me to roam free on the Internet for as long as I can remember.
No, they didn't trust any of us. The computer was smack dab in the middle of the living room, with the couch right behind it so they could be watching tv and also keep an eye on everything we were doing at the same time. No privacy. And we only got an hour on the computer at a time, and afterwards my mom would look through the history (idk why but I didn't know about deleting history until I was like 16, a mess) and if she found anything "questionable" she would ask us about it and make us give her an answer. I can assure you none of us kids were looking at **** or anything of the like
