Should Polygamy be legalized? Explain why or why not
If homosexuals are free to marry then what is so wrong about letting somebody have more than one wife or husband?
Polygamy is allowed in certain countries, mainly in muslim ones. Some religions like Islam allow it so by not allowing polygamy they are not free to practise their religious rights fully.
This is giving me "What's next? People marrying their dog?" teas.
lol. Polygamy is actually permitted in some religions with more than 1.7 billion adherents so you can't really compare it to "marrying dogs". My point was, if you're allowin something that most religous people would not approve of, why not let religious people too practise poligamy if it's permitted by it.
It seems almost all the countries allowing polygamy are the ones that have abolished gay marriage, and vis versa.
Because they're islamic countries where homosexuality is probably considered a grave sin and you get a death penalty when you are caught since their messenger Muhammad ordered so. On the other hand polygamy is permitted in their holy book The Quran.

I wouldnt do it myself but why not? It doesn't hurt anyone and as long as everyone that is part of it is aware of their partner's partners. Gays being judgemental and hypocrites as usual
