I wouldn't be surprised if, in a couple of centuries (or maybe just one), the RCC will be saying marriage for same-sex couples was in the Bible all along.

It seems unlikely that they will.
When it comes to moral issues, the Roman Catholic Church has maintained a very hard line teaching what we might call "traditional morality" - even in the face of widespread protest.
To some extent, they are constrained by their own rules and regulations to not change their stance on moral issues that have been formally and officially established in a "final" manner. They consider such "written-in-stone" doctrines to be God's own word on the matter - unchangeable. Even the issue of deeming condom use to be a sin is an issue on which they steadfastly refuse to change.
So: no, I can't imagine them ever changing their position on that issue. There are individual Roman Catholic officials who already support same-sex marriage, but the formal, official stance of the Church prohibits it, and I can't see that changing without first formally and officially rejecting several centuries of officially-established doctrines (something I think they have never done even once).
