I upgraded to the latest version of iOS, because I wanted to check out Apple Music. Now, I have found that Apple Music is housed under the Music icon, which can be good, but it's also kind of bad.

Now it feels like the Music player has been hijacked. I really enjoyed the simplicity of the older music player, where I could just click on the icon, find the music I wanted and enjoy. Now it feels like iTunes has merged with the music player and I'm getting advertisements about more things I can do or buy or check out. Then there's the "Connect" button on the bottom that takes up all the space and doesn't look like something I would care about.

It just feels like too much, like it has a sales-y quality to it. I just want to listen to my music--not have all these other options in my face.

I agree with you. I also hate the recently added albums being perched at the top I think they should have just put an Apple Music button and the bottom, everything else feels extra, idk.

I like it because I used to always complain that adding songs to the playlist was a pain because I was forced to scroll all the way to the bottom of the purchased list to put them into my playlist.

It's been a little over 12 hours and I've used it for maybe a half hour and I can't even remember the old interface.

Just accept the learning. You'll be fine.

I love it for the simple fact that the Music app has been built from the ground up and has eliminated a lot of the syncing issues (like wrong artists syncing for songs purchased on iTunes, wrong year, etc.).

if you aren't planning on using Apple Music you can turn off it's features in the Music App settings (settings> scroll down to Music), that will take away all Apple Music related things in the Music app except Connect and Radio; you can do the same in iTunes on your computer (it's under the General tab right under Library Name).

Are you kidding? No way. I actually think it's the opposite. It makes me not want to buy anything other than using the subscription. I have ZERO desire to download the songs through the iTunes method not even for my faves....

Who knew a complete solution would make me not want to download music over streaming it.

You can get rid of the Apple Music thing from your music if you go to settings and then music

I love the service so far but it has totally screwed up some artworks.
