what charice and leona are lacking is the MATERIAL that mariah, whitney, shania twain and celine dion had back in the day. those 4 ladies had classic material. the content of today's music has nothing to do with upcoming powerhouse vocalists. i think charice is working with david foster, the man behind celine dion productions.

the material that mariah, whitney, celine and shania had were used and are still used for ceremonial functions like wedding, funerals, presidential ceremonies etc. music by beyonce, janet, madonna, britney, lady gaga, rihanna, kesha, etc are not for those type of functions. so both groups of artists can co exist in the industry.

As love100 said, this show isn't really loved, because it is really similar to another one which has more success (the other show is called Ti Lascio Una Canzone and Charice went there too).
