I love subtitles
I've used them all my life since my older sister and my mum put them on. I legit can't watch a show without subtitles. When there's a show on Netflix with no subtitles, I get so mad
I actually stopped watching How To Get Away With Murder because there was no subtitles and I didn't understand what the **** Viola Davis was saying. But yes, I love subtitles. Do you?

Yes, I always like to make sure I'm understanding all the dialogue correctly by enabling the subtitles

Yes, but only when it comes to movies and shows which I personally find to be more thought-provoking and complex than the usual ones so that I can make sure to really absorb everything. Period drama shows and sometimes movies and its esoteric dialogues are the usual suspects for me.

Yep i love subtitles. I generally like reading while watching a movie and understanding the dialogue more if i don't hear something.

I usually google 'watch [insert show/movie/doc] with subtitles' I'm only lucky 10% of the time and it's in low(er) quality. Great idea though, somebody should invent that.

Omg my best friend hates subtitles and turns them off whenever we watch something together bc its "distracting". I cant watch anything without subtitles anymore.might have to do with the fact that i have a pretty low attention span

i think there are special sites with subs only, you can download them as a file and then include them in a movie!!

Haven't encountered a movie streaming site known for its inclusion of subs yet.

I used to obsess over having them on, but then I realised I just end up missing most of the movie by focusing on the text. Sure they're great for dialogue, but it comes at the expense of the visual/cinematographic aspect.

I do but mainly because my family talks so loud whenever I'm watching something. I hope going deaf hasn't got anything to do with it.

I don't like watching dubbed movies and since English isn't my first language, I do.

I always have closed captioning on when I'm watching TV in my room. I started doing it when I was like 10 and now I'm just used to it It's nice because I can listen to music and mute the TV but still follow along with what is going on.

Yeah, I always have subtitles on. Especially when I'm watching something that's in Spanish.

I hate watching things without them.

I live in Mexico so it is common here, I prefer the shows with subtitles because it helps to correlate the audio with the translation and know when it is right or not
