Discussion: Delete photos of ex on social media?

Do you? Should you? I'm talking about pictures of you two together.

I've never been in a relationship, but I don't think I would. But I also probably wouldn't have too many photos up in the first place.

Unless it's your most liked or your only good picture you should delete it. If you choose not to delete it you should change the caption.

It's 'easier' getting over someone when you completely ignore their existence or any significance they've had to you in the past

But yeah I'm not the one to be like that, if I've been in a relationship with someone that means that person meant a great deal to me and always will, so I like to remember those times actually

My last relationship was TOXIC. I deleted, untagged all photos of him and I with the QUICKNESS. It was definitely a learning experience for me, but I was ASHAMED of what I became when I was with him; I wasn't myself AT ALL.

Plus he blocked me on FB after I broke up with him. So yeah. Out of sight, out of mind.

I pretty much deleted most of my pictures of Scott/with Scott off my iNstagram when we broke up. I didn't really know how to handle a breakup since it was my first one

Now, the pictures that I found that were on my computer of us or what not, just remind me of the guy he used to be. He's not the guy I dated anymore, and it's not just because of our breakup, it's because he joined a toxic group of people that made him forget everything in life he cared about.

The pictures of us together remind me of how HE used to be.

i would totally be super petty after a breakup and delete everything and ignore their existence and block them on everything

i've never broken up with anyone tho so who knows

I would, if the relationship did not end in good terms, why would I keep something that instead of helping me would put more salt on the cuts.

Only the petty immature people are hasty to delete everything from the face of the earth. I keep up all non-intimate pictures, but delete the more suggestive ones if I’m seeing someone new.
