Who do you prefer: Britney Jean Spears or Lady Gaga?
They arguably have the biggest peaks of the 2000s so far, along with Adele. At their peaks Britney and Gaga were literally everywhere. Slaying in terms of sales, but also media coverage, iconic songs and videos, awards, fashion and everything else. They were inescapable. That's not to discredit Bey, Rih, Katy, Taylor and Nicki since their success has been more consistent which obviously worked out better for them. The problem when you have a peak like that the only way to go is down.
