What would be your reaction if you found out you were going to prison? Do you think you'd be able to handle it?


Even tho I don't commit any crimes except for small offenses, I get so scared of the thought of going to prison. I'm such a pu$sy, I would be deaded quick. I don't know if being gay would be a good thing r a bad thing either. I would probably get raped.

I would not handle it. Lord, the way in OITNB they trade stuff for chocolate bars and crisps. It's a mess. Their faces legit light up! I would eat all the pizza I can before I go to prison because prison food looks so gross
I would also feel like an object. The way they call them 'inmate' and the discrimination is real. As a female, I'd be worried for my safety against the male guards
I would miss the internet and my family omg my boyfriend and my (best) friends
Ofc, OITNB may not be like real life prison. But it's all I can think of.
I also watched this doc. though and I heard at night, people scream for freedom and cry I need my sleep.

LEMME avoid prison,tho

I could not handle it. I'm too short and too weak, and I would be the preferences for many sexually suppressed men which is kinda groce. Also, I wouldn't drop the soap to avoid any encounter with bubba.

According to Remy Ma, OITNB is pretty accurate except real life prison is much gloomier and sadder. Which makes sense since OITNB is a comedy.


Men's prisons seem to be much more extra tho. More gang violence, more rape, just scarier.

I wouldn't be able to handle it. I'd probably be raped and taken advantage of. But with time you'd probably learn how to defend yourself.

I'd be more upset about what'll happen after I get out - how people will react to me being a criminal, how much my career options pool would shrink etc. I don't think I'd have a lot of issues in prison, though.
