I know this is probably against ATRL rules, but it's worth a try.
Some of you may know that Venezuela is going through a deep economic crisis. Our monthly salary is under $37 (yes, $37. Not $370 or $3700), to put it in perspective an apple costs $5 in our currency (so an average person can only afford 7 apples with their whole salary)
My friend, has been fighting cancer for a few years and currently has Hodgkin lymphoma, his treatment is really expensive ($7k) and even if we somehow get enough money to buy it.. we can't. In our country, the average person is not able to get dollars because our government has blocked all kinds of international transactions (only major industries and political figures are able to do it) so we need money from outside our country.
Each day, there are thousands of people dying in our hospitals because we don't even have the most basic supplies (needles, cotton, etc), so patients with Cancer, AIDS, etc are helplesss in our situation.
I'm not only asking help only for my friend, but for the countless patients without hope in my whole country, even if you can't give a donation please spread the word about this situation so the world knows what we're going through.
