Okay, so I work in retail and have been with them for 2 years, just graduated college but I still don't know what I'm doing next. I'm sticking with my job for a little while longer. I was reading online on the average starting wage in the position that I work, in the company I work for, it's about $1.50 higher than what I make. And apparently my company has a "negotiate your wage once" kind of policy. The idea of actually going through with it makes me nervous, I have no idea on how to do it.
Anyone have any idea on what are the politics on bringing this up? Like, any idea what'd be the best way to tell them I want more ****ing money?
