Okay, there's no such thing as a "cure for cancer."
There are literally
hundreds of different types of cancers. They can manifest themselves in different ways, have different effects with varying levels of severity, and in general be completely separate from one another.
Side note: some cancers today are treatable and have high survival rates, such as Hodgkin's lymphoma, which has a five-year survival rate of 90-95%. Testicular cancer also has one of the highest cure rates of all cancers, with a five-year survival rate of 95%.
