This is such a weird backhanded compliment. You're basically saying you're proud of your faves for selling records and not because they're vocally talented.

This is probably the most out of place and unnecessary post I've ever seen in my ~10 years on ATRL. There's nothing remotely shady in the article, why feel the need to defend your damn fave?
She truly does have an incredible voice, but even more impressive is how well she emotes.

Rihanna has a larger vocal range than Gaga, its really not too impressive.
The article isn't saying she has a wide range, it's saying that she sounds impeccable throughout
her entire range. Most pop girls only sound invested and powerful when they're belting for their life.
