I did this same thing for Leona back in 2009.
I took the copies off the shelf and spread them around the store to make it look sold out.

It doesn't mean anything. 5 targets in my area legit sold out of Sabrina Carpenters album and she only sold like 5000 copies first week. Hoping for a better result for Hilary though

From these photos, it looks like Nate's album was overshipped, while Hilary's was undershipped.

They count the copy when you scan the album. If he hid them around the store and they were never bought no copies ever counted.
& even if he did do something where they did count, it's not like they're gonna arrest him for making multiple Leona albums count 6 years ago.
