The 22-year-old singer - who quit One Direction three months ago - teamed up Righteous for a cover of Atlanta rap duo Rae Sremmurd's No Type but within hours of the audio being made public, the song was embroiled in controversy when Naughty Boy claimed it was unfinished and had been stolen.
He tweeted: 'Just wait for the real one... you won't be disappointed. That had nothing to do with me or Zayn, something was stolen from the hard drive that had nothing to do with the rapper involved.
However, Righteous hit back and insisted he hadn't 'stolen' the track but rather had released it for Zayn's sake as he isn't allowed to release music for two years after leaving One Direction.
'Zayn wants the tune out, he ask me to be on the song, shah (naughtyboy) told me that his label wont let him release any music for the next two yrs..
This can't be true!
Zayn's supposed to be becoming the New Justin Timberlake! How's he supposed to do that if he cant release music till 2017
Even if that's the case, I think they can keep his name out there with featurings until then That wouldn't count as his release, right? He could take up half of Naughty Boy's album like Emeli Sandé did, lol
good.. in the mean time baby should focus on developing a musc masc zaddy kind of body. and work on his stage skills if he got none. Hes just 22. We can wait till hes 24.
