Discussion: IFPI question

Starstruck.

IFPI have been using single-track downloads and track-equivalent streams since 2013. The question is, does anyone know the track-equivalent streams formula?

It would really help because we can estimate the amount of streams and subtract them from the overall number.

I found this on the RIAA website:

I'm sure IFPI uses a different formula since this only applies to the US so yeah if you know anything please post it.

The more people send something the better. I would have sent something but I wouldn't be able to explain the question.

My guess is that they used each country's own formula and made a total but it seems too complicated & long but I don't know.
