The PlayStation 4 has outsold the Xbox One every month this year except for April. That has helped Sony’s hardware build a substantial lead over Microsoft.
“PS4 continues to be the cumulative sales leader in the US and globally with more than 20 million consoles already in the market,” said Sony’s spokesperson.

I hope they start expanding the first party lineup soon. It's not going to sell like this forever, especially with Xbox having 2 heavy hitter exclusives later this year while Playstations has...um...well...Until Dawn?

If you keep on wishing then it may happen. 
The worrying part should be when it still keeps selling with Until Dawn only. 
And I see you purposely left out Uncharted Nathan Drake Collections, DragonQuest Heroes, Persona 5 etc.

Not even close. Back when the Wii was slaying, it was consistently selling more than than 500k a month  I think it did 1m during the holiday season

The highest single console game and it's also slaying WW. It sold over 210k in Japan in two weeks and just set a record for highest sell through rate for a console game (with 97%+ in its first week).

With the 3DS slaying like this (just passed over 15M in U.S. only) and Wii U picking up in Japan, it looks like Nintendo may be able to take another gen
