I think the only way to save Tidal is to either make it free. Or make the subscriptions 2$. If the. Make it free they will DEFINITELY wipe the floor with Spotify and Apple.

Honestly, nothing. It's clear and evident that Spotify and the Apple service will surpass Tidal regardless of how they attempt to salvage what is left of it.

It's free for a month already, if it was just one dollar cheaper than Spotify...

People don't care about the royalties paid to the artists tbh, they just care how cheap it is, so for Tidal to win it has to be cheaper (or free), and will probably need to pay lower royalties to achieve that. Most of the people who stream now illegally downloaded in the past anyway, so even though the royalties from streaming are low, at least they're now making SOME money off those music fans.

Also, the promotion campaign for Tidal was bad. The general public can never sympathise with millionaires saying they deserve more money, they should've got some struggling rock bands to promote Tidal instead, since the public would sympathise with them more.
