It's starting to get annoying but I don't mind, it was the song that blocked Uptown Funk from breaking the record so it can stay at #1 for another month for all I care.
I dont like the song myself. These death songs are terrible these days. The only one I really liked at all was Together Again and that's because it wasn't rehash. It was very much a happy/sad kind of song.
It appeals to white people. We love twinkly piano ballads that feature "hard-hitting" (or hardly-hitting) beats and "edgy" rent-a-rappers grappling with sensitive subject matter. Add a plaintive refrain courtesy of insert annonymous Caucasian singer-songwriter type and you've got a definite top ten hit on your hands.
Also, Paul Walker. We're, like, so distraught over it.
