What? Her father put it on Instagram. The video wasn't put on YouTube until after she already committed suicide to expose that awful method of punishment.

Not really. Emotional pain is relative. Just because someone's rich or belongs to a well off family doesn't mean they can't be unhappy.
It's already known that men successfully commit suicide more than women because men take more deadly/lethal approaches. As far as race, do some research of your own. Start
here.
You can't just say "black people go HAM on their children and they survive, why are whites so dramatic?". If a child has been raised in an abusive household all their life, they wouldn't be likely to try committing suicide unless it went a step too far. In this girl's case, her father went a step too far. Add that to being an already bullied middle schooler and you don't have a good situation.
