Everyone wanna act like it's a masterpiece just because it had monster sales.

It's a really well-written album but it's not like others have made much better albums. It's a timeless era for sure.

21 is indeed timeless, just look at its current iTunes positions. Still selling like hot cakes.

Everyone knows 21 and In the Lonely Hour are POP albums with soul leanings. No different than Avril and Kelly being pop stars with rock influence.

(I know "pop" is short for popular, which can mean any album that's popular, but I'm talking about bubblegum pop.)

but it was timeless back in 2011...its more of the sound. if a song can literally come out during any phase of music and sound exceptional and A grade then it's timeless.

Classic is determined by impact, influence and over time. Timeless is a song that transcends all.

The singles alone could have been smashes in the 60s 70s 80s 90s 00s as well.
