What’s gayer than two guys getting married? Two guys getting married at a Britney Spears concert. Woody Arenas and David Krawsek were the lucky couple to wed with the assistance of the pop superstar during her concert April 24 at Las Vegas’s Planet Hollywood.
“The Axis and Planet Hollywood invited us to exchange vows in the venue the night of the Britney Spears concert, which happened to be our one-year anniversary of dating,” Woody tells The Advocate. “The Axis gave all of our friends tickets to the pit to attend Britney’s concert, and before the concert started, David and I were invited to meet Britney backstage. At the meet-and-greet, Britney congratulated us again and gave us our first wedding card. She also took a photo with us and even signed our marriage certificate. What a great night.”
Woody and David hail from northern Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C. The two also met at a Britney Spears concert, which made their dream wedding even more appropriate.
“[We met in] December 2013 at the opening night of the Britney Spears: Piece of Me concert. We both arrived with a group of friends and were standing next to each other in the pit,” Woody remembers. “We danced together during the show and hung out all night after the concert with our friends. We had a few drinks at Planet Hollywood, then went to the Paris casino and had more cocktails and looked at the Las Vegas strip from the top of the Eiffel Tower. We plan on going to Paris for our honeymoon during the Christmas holiday to visit the Eiffel Tower and re-create our first time meeting
