According to Rooster Teeth's source, Silent Hills is 80% complete, and Microsoft is trying to purchase the property for "billions" of dollars by E3 this year – where it will officially reveal the game as an Xbox One exclusive. It could reportedly be released as soon as March 2016.

Konami pulled the PT demo for Silent Hills from the PlayStation Store "as a show of good faith to Microsoft," Rooster Teeth said.

Rooster Teeth also reports Konami is trying to get out of the console game business as soon as possible, so it's selling off properties that can't easily be converted to mobile experiences.

There's no way it's gonna happen cause
1. the game was still an idea if it was that far along we would have seen more than that
2. Why would a single game cost billions especially a franchise that hit hard times?
3. MS buys things up all the time but even they are not this stupid why spend billions on one game when you get all the IPs?

The Tomb Raider exclusive will only flop initially because the core Tomb Raider fanbase are Playstation players, Tomb Raider has always been massive on the Playstation platform.

The sales will be average initially, just like everything Xbox related, and will eventually take a boom after being released over all platforms.
