When you want things to happen so bad in your life, for example you are trying to work a relationship, do you feel the need to seek spirituality or religiousness devotion to have hope ? Do you think as a lgbt person that's the wrong thing to do or not ?

... You asked if it's contradictory but never actually explained how one can interpret it as such. So I stand by my opinion that, no, praying it is not contradictory for an any person (LGBT or not) to pray

That being gay is a sin and therefore you can't ask God to be in a relationship or even pray for intercessions to be in a happy relationship

There are other religions than Christianity that involve prayer (nevermind that there's branches of Christianity that are fine with gays), but this doesn't even understand Christianity in the first place. If people were banned from praying to God simply for committing a sin, then no one could pray. You're first post also said absolutely nothing about being in a gay relationship, or relationships in general, but instead that the very act of praying while being LGBT is contradictory.

I don't think so. You don't have to be religious to believe in God (or any kind of higher power) and pray. Religion and faith are different things.

Everyone is a sinner. One of the most famous verses in the Bible is Romans 3:23, which says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." If sinners weren't allowed to pray then no one would be allowed to pray.

We mustn’t forget the Bible was written by MAN, while I believe in God and pray to him I do ask for relationship blessings, I just don’t believe God could consider something derived from love to be a sin. At the time of the Bible being written, the Romans were enemies so naturally their practices(homosexuality) would be an easy target for accusation of “sinning"

We actually talked about this in my interpersonal communication class last semester - I go to a Christian university, so a lot of our professors make references to Christianity in lectures - and my professor said that "religion" and "faith" are basically the same thing, but some people prefer to distinguish the two because "faith" sounds less restrictive than religion. Although a lot of the Christians in the classroom said that they prefer to use the word "faith" to establish the personal relationship between themselves and God, which I also prefer, the only difference is what we give the words.

That's only one way of looking at it, not a proven fact. For those of us who are Christians, we believe that while God did not physically write the Bible, He gave divine inspiration to those who did. Very true, this is a matter of faith as you mentioned before, in scripture Matthew 7:15 also says "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.” no specifics are ever made about who the “wolves” are, so it’s up to interpretation.
