GB was a mess but he wasn't outright racist. Sure his acts during Katrina were a bit questionable but I don't think he was a racist person overall. More just the wrong person for the job.

White people hate blacks because they are threatened by us, and afraid that we will take over. They love our culture but they would never want to be us if given the chance to switch lives for a day. Not all white people are like that, but many of them are, and the problem is exacerbated by the media, which is run by whites and only has white peoples' best interest at heart.

Racial issues are very real and pretending like it's some trend or toy that you can put down when you're tired of it, doesn't change the reality of how it effects the lives of so many people, so it should be understandable that people want to discuss it.

Okay, so you go to the zoo, and you see a lion in a cage. Not so scary when you strip the power from them and you're in a place where you can prod and taunt them all you want. You do this for a few generations, then a law says "Hey! You can't do that anymore! Let those lions go!", and...then the lions are pissed and now have some power given to them.
