Well if he let her go, then she'll be able to sign with another record label, release new music, and he'd lost everything, as his reputation has been pretty damaged and he knows so well that it's certainly not with artists like Becky G or G.R.L. that he'll find success again. And people will think that if he let her go, then it's because he feels / is guilty. He's ****ed up anyway, so by keeping her under contract, she's ****ed up with him. It's pretty simple actually...and very sad.
