Pharrell was actually the only one with a sprinkle of soul in this whole tribute. Legend X butchered yet another song with her growling. And the other two were just there.

Less is more is something Xtina will probably never learn. Lift Me Up 2010 performance was the last time I saw her deliver.

B.B. King's style was much smoother, but Christina wasn't trying to copy him. Her influences are Etta James, Aretha, Patti and all the signature big, resonant, loud voices of that era, so "oversinging" is part of who she is as a singer.

It was GREAT. A gorgeous performance, I love her tone. Still, I want a performance for Anywhere But Here ASAP. Her voice stuns epically on that song.
