Hey all! I debated whether or not to make a list, because no one really knows me. I just lurk around the forums, reading what you guys have to say about music news and such. BUT this looked like it would be a lot of fun to do, so here I am! I'm doing the top 50 singles of 2009. I based my list on the number of plays these songs recieved on my itunes this year and their performance on the Hot 100. Selena Gomez & The Scene - Falling Down
I thought this was a great debut single! It was catchy and definitely fun to listen to while driving.
Pixie Lott - Mama Do
This girl hasn't broken America yet, but its only a matter of time. I heard this song on the radio constantly in Ireland and I had to look it up. I love her soulful voice.
3OH!3 - Starstruck featuring Katy Perry
This is a really fun song, Katy Perry added a lot to it, she was the reason I got into it.
Jason Mraz - Lucky featuring Colbie Caillat
This is a beautiful duet, it definitely makes sense for these two accoustic singers to collaborate. This is a really chill song.
Kris Allen - Live Like We're Dying
This is a really catchy first single, I hope it catches on more in 2010. I was hoping for more than a cover for Kris' first single, but this is still good song that got a few spins on my ipod.
