Translation: We were added last minute because of Worth It's success but were told there was no time or money for us to do a performance with a lot of production. No one was shelling out for sets, props, dancers, live bands or anything that would make our performance as extravagant as the most of the others.
Translation: Our team didn't bother to give us any real time to rehearse, made us do two shows the days before and fly back and forth across the country in 24 hours. So we were exhausted and our voices a bit strained. Once we sat down and heard how ridiculous Worth It sounded a capella we knew there was no way this was a good idea.
Translation: There was no way we were going to perform a barely rehearsed song that didn't sound any good a capella anyway, especially not in front of Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Ed Sheeran and Nicki Minaj. Our idols! Plus the only way to showcase Worth It at it's best is with lots of music, considering we've never even done an acoustic version of the song.
Translation: We see that you are all incredibly angry, confused and upset. We were disappointed and frustrated by how disorganized this was too but we decided it was better to take on the anger of the fandom than look like fools on national television or rant like idiots about our management.
