The Delta Foundation of Pittsburgh, the region’s leading lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) organization is pleased to announce that Iggy Azalea will be the headliner at its Pittsburgh Pride in the Street event on Saturday, June 13 on Liberty Avenue in downtown Pittsburgh. Azalea joins Melissa Etheridge, Adam Lambert, Chaka Khan, and Patti LaBelle, all of whom have delivered unforgettable performances at the largest LGBT event in Pennsylvania.
“We are thrilled to bring Iggy Azalea to Pittsburgh for the first time, and also happy that this will be her first gay pride performance ever,” said Gary Van Horn, president of the Delta Foundation of Pittsburgh. “Pittsburgh Pride has become a signature event not only for our City, but nationally and internationally as well. We have folks who come to Pittsburgh Pride from all over the world, and we know that Pittsburgh has gained a great reputation as being a city that is truly welcoming to the LGBT community.”
