It's a two way street.
It's undeniable that some people just like Hillary because she's a woman, but it's even more undeniable that some people don't like her simply because she's a woman. It's also undeniable that most of the politicians are only supported because they are men and they wouldn't receive half the support if they were women.

If that was true I would agree with you fortunately you are wrong.
This Congress has 104 women the first time more than 100 women have held seats. It's climbing slowly but it is climbing. Also you can't just look at the population of men vs. women and say it's not balanced equally because not as many women run for public office. You can't magically create women candidates where one doesn't exist and when one does pop up you can't just vote her in because of her gender.
There are women that run and lose and women that run and win just like anyone else as it should be.
More women are getting in to politics it just takes time for them to move their way up the ladder not many, if any, are handed a senate seat like Hillary was and they don't get to avoid the hard questions and still get elected like Hillary is attempting to do right now.
If Hillary was a man she would lose a ton of supporters. I have no doubt of that,
