Honestly it's really fun for shopping and dining. A lot of cool buildings. It is too hot and too crowded for my liking though (im from Canada).

Big city in a small area by a bay. Skyscrapers. Warm, humid weather. Huge economy and very expensive city. Pearl River Delta.

I'm assuming a lot of them see themselves as separate, which makes sense. I had class with girl from Hong Kong and a bunch of Chinese kids. She always emphasized she was from Hong Kong and she didn't have the best opinion of the mainland kids, their manners and how they mocked her when she spoke Mandarin.

My roommate last year was from HK. He loved it there but he didn't really talk too much about it.

Most of Hong Kong people are considered to be rich / the 'high class' Chinese that's why most of them emphasise the fact that they're from Hong Kong. They are indeed rich from what I know in my Uni.

It's a major world class city, one of the world's richest and most expensive cities, the tallest city on the planet, Chinese people live there, but it's much more westernised than China, very close to Macau on the Indian ocean, has great climate, low crime rate, and GaGa sold 51K tickets there on BTWB
