I really enjoyed the Rob Zombie remakes and i don't think this needs another film. I wish they'd let the franchise die in peace to an extent. I don't know what else they could do with it however one of the writers signed on to the project wrote The Collection which was a great slasher-esque film so if it can bring back the genre i'm here for it.
I'm all for anything Halloween. I enjoy every single one of the Halloween films, even though I can admit that some of them aren't good. Halloween has just always had a special place in my heart and I eat up anything with Michael Myers in it. The only one I really didn't like at all was Resurection. They tried to go way too futuristic with it and I don't think it worked. Halloween films need to be very simplistic and old fashioned in order to work. At their core, these films do not need to have a complicated plot. Think of the classic original, the plot was so simple and generic. The success of these films relies on the execution - how effective the score and scares are. I will go see it in theaters, and if they pull it off, they'll have my money with the Blu-Ray sale.

Yes, I'm here for it. Halloween is my favorite horror franchise. I actually enjoyed the RZ remakes. So, I'm ready for it and I will most definitely support it.
The Rob Zombie remakes were horrible, though the first one was kind of decent. I wish the original franchise ended on the first one, as intended. The unnamed masked killer is more terrifying without a backstory. He was just a kid from the suburbs who snapped. I hope the remake keeps this in mind....
I did enjoy the second original Halloween, and I'll watch 4-6 too (sometimes 7), but the story is just overall more chilling if you believe it ended with the first film.
Didn't Jamie cut his head off in H20? Like, what is going on
No. If you watched Halloween: Resurrection they said that Michael took his mask off and put it on a paramedic after choking him unconscious and crushing his vocal chords. When the paramedic came to he tried to tell Jamie Lee Curtis that he wasn't Michael. But since he couldn't talk Jamie chopped his head thinking it was Michael. Meanwhile, Michael disappeared in the woods somewhere came back after her 4 years later. Mess @ me knowing this whole story.
