Every Simpsons' fans worst nightmare just came true -- Harry Shearer ... one of the key voices on the show is leaving after contract talks broke down.
According to Shearer ... co-creator and executive producer James L. Brooks' attorney broke the news that Harry would "not be part of" the show going forward.

I hate when people say that the new episodes suck. Some of the old ones suck too, it's just nostalgia.

No its not just nostalgia. I wasnt aware of which season is running (I watch only re-runs because I prefer Czech dubbing which is just brilliant to the original voices). I only discovered after buying the DVD set that most of my favorite episodes are from old seasons. The serie peaked with the 4-7th season and started rapidly declining after the 18th season. I havent seen a decent new episode in ages.
The Simpsons is awful nowadays anyway, they should just cancel the whole series. It was once a brilliant show, but its absolutly a cringe worthy kidz bop mess now, i tried watching one episode a few years ago, and i couldnt watch the whole thing cause it was so terrible.
The Simpsons would of been better of cancelled 10 years ago, its sad to see an amazing show now being a complete disaster. It has definitly hurt its legacy a bit.
