As someone that's an avid Jem fan and has watched all 3 seasons religiously. I must say that even though this is distant from what Jem was, I'll give it a chance. If they set it up right, I have a feeling a second movie cold be awesome with the misfits and everything. Still sad we don't know if synergy will be in it or like some Siri type stuff lol
Her boyfriends hair isn't purple either and the Misfits are not in the film.

This. These girls in the film look too young. Jem and the Holograms were grown ass women in their 20's, not teenagers. They looked like Ke$ha, circa Animal era. Hell, there you go. Ke$ha would've made a great Jem or even a great Pizzazz. Instaed, they cast some Disney Channel looking broads. NO, just no. Pass.
its like they took the people and the flip the story and made it like them basic movie about a singer that gets found on youtube and that goes thru ups and downs wasnt Jem an adventures of a music company owner who uses a holographic computer to live a secret life as a rock star and they give us this **** like please ill pass on it
I was excited when I first heard they were making this. I guess I’m just as much of a sucker for nostalgia bait as anyone else, but then I saw this trailer and that excitement was gone. This looks extremely generic, like Disney Channel original movie generic, which is probably where it belongs.
