Fox is already signing big-name guest stars for the second season of its mega-hit new series Empire.
The network has enlisted actor-comedian Chris Rock, pop star Alicia Keys and singer and Hunger Games actor Lenny Kravitz for roles next season, Fox TV chairman and CEO Dana Walden announced to advertisers in New York on Monday.
There are no details yet on how the stars will be folded into the storyline of the show, which during its debut season landed talent like Snoop Dogg, Gladys Knight and Mary J. Blige. And this just-announced trio are almost certainly only the beginning of the show’s guest star roster for season 2. Previously, producers suggested Oprah and Common may appear in the new season as well, but they are not confirmed.
I just hope they know what they're doing role-wise.
Like i'd much rather Alicia just played herself/fictionalized version of herself if she can't act well.
There were quite a few famous musicians last series.
Oh you just wait
black tv is the feature king
cuz when something good comes along everybody want a piece till thier aint no more
its gonna be featuring
tichina arnold
marlon wayans
kevin hart
zoe kravitz
Wendy raquel
Ice Cube
Chris rock
Brandy
They're doing too much with that show. Let it breathe.
Tbh. Nice to see black people on tv and everything but having them all segregated to one show actually does more harm than good lowkey. It dilutes their individual star power. I'm sure that's why Bey/Rih hasn't collabed with any of her black female rnb peers yet, they are so sparse in the industry they can't afford to blend into one.

What is this gonna be, a mini The Game get together?
In before the Beyhive says 'Oh they should've book Beyonce, instead.' But who knows Lee Daniels might say that for promotion. I wanted her to be on the show too.
So it's good enough, good enough, good enouuuuugh.... for now.
