Last night, Prince held his #Rally4Peace concert in Baltimore to raise money and awareness in the wake of Freddie Gray's death at the hands of the police. During the show, which was streamed for free on Tidal, Gray's family had the opportunity to meet and take pictures with Jay Z, Beyoncé, and Alicia Keys backstage. Prior to the meeting, Hov expressed his sadness in the situation, and said that his thoughts and prayers were with Gray's family during these tough times. The proceeds of the concert and Prince's recently released Baltimore tribute song, which you can stream here, are all going directly to a number of Baltimore youth charities, with Tidal agreeing to match everything that was raised.
Funny how not a lot of people came in this thread, and then will say that she's not involved in the civil rights
I'm glad she's not showing off when she does things like that though. I'm proud
But according to voicextina Bey does not care ? Strange she seems to be always going to support the community. As opposed to tweeting and never mentioning it again.

For ATRL, if you don't tweet about it, then you're doing nothing about it. Simple as that.
Someone like Beyonce would understandably be too scared to talk about these issues at length but she's still risking scrutiny by showing up. Which means she actually cares, I was afraid she was nu black
