It's been reported that Simon is planning to turn Tamera into UK's Rihanna but she clearly wants to be herself

Great voice, interesting personality, let's see how big her musicality is.

Her voice reminds me of a mix between Erykah and Fantasia -- interesting tone and texture. Hm.

But I get her point about not being the next Rihanna even though that's likely who she will end up compared with if her career builds and she starts getting media attention. The same way people pegged Rih as the next Bey; Bey as the next Diana Ross/Tina Turner and they both simply ended up being Beyoncé and Rihanna; icons in their own right with their own individual attributes. I'm sure that's probably what this girl is striving for and meant by that -- didn't seem shady tho.
