Also, an evolutionary perspective would suggest that fathers resent having gay sons because gay sons can't reproduce, which decreases the father's reproductive success and whatnot.

So you're implying that being gay leads to a poor paternal relationship as opposed to the other way around? That'd be pretty valid too but remember that in most cases, dads aren't aware of their child's sexuality until maybe the age of 5/6 where they start to exhibit more feminine tendencies (most gay kids do anyway).

I was never interested in that he's very annoying when it comes what and how a male should act. he's the only left for me to come out, I think he knows, but he havent said anything. but tbh if he pisses me off or talks me again about girls I will straight tell him I'm ****ing gay and storm out of the room. I think it's because gays are naturally more feminine and like talking and doing stuff with females more than with males (unless it's sex). And this would also apply to mothers.

I was raised by my father, and he accepts me just the way I am. I can't relate to this.

My dad raised me while my mom worked. It's crazy, I remember we used to do all kinds of things together. Parks, teaching me to ride my bike, baseball practice, taking & picking me up from school.

Once I told him I was gay he did take it hard for a bit but came around eventually.

I think there might be a link between gays being closer to their mothers than their fathers, but I don't think gays being closer to their mothers is what made them gay. I think they'd probably be closer to their mothers because they just feel a closer type of bond on some level.
