Ok so here are the reasons why I THINK I am in love with my best friend


1) I haven't liked a guy in so long. Since like 8th grade long. And I'm graduating HS next month so yeah it's been a while. Is it possible I like this guy (or even more since it's so different I would label it as being in love) and just haven't really noticed.

2) I get jealous when he's with his girlfriend. Like when he spends more time with her and it makes me feel like he puts her over me, his best friend.

But here's the thing that makes me think I'm NOT in love with him or even like him. I'm not sexually attracted to him at all. Sure, he's attractive but viewing him in a sexual way just doesn't feel right... it feels gross actually.


So anyways, besides advice you have, you may post any time you were in a similar situation as me.

Do you think he likes you romantically? If not, don't waste your time sis.

I've had crushes on some of my straight friends. It'll fade, most likely. Did for me, at least.

I was in the same shoes as yours. I'd had a crush on my best friend 2 years ago but then viewing him as a sexual partner was so gross. I don't know whether it was really love or not
